Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using MahjManager. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About MahjManager
MahjManager is a tournament management platform operated by Reel Plan, LLC, a company organized under the laws of the District of Columbia, with offices at 916 G St NW, Suite 203, Washington, DC 20001. MahjManager provides tools for organizing, running, and communicating with participants in Mahjong tournaments.
2. Account Registration
To use MahjManager, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately at info@reelplan.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you have the authority to bind your organization to these terms.
3. Use of the Service
MahjManager is provided for the purpose of organizing and managing Mahjong tournaments. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service to harass, harm, or spam tournament participants
- Upload or transmit false, misleading, or unlawful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
- Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
- Collect or harvest personal information about other users without their consent
4. SMS Messaging
MahjManager provides SMS messaging features that allow tournament organizers to send seating assignments, scores, and other tournament-related communications to participants. By using the SMS features, you represent that you have obtained appropriate consent from each participant to receive text messages related to the tournament. Standard message and data rates may apply to recipients.
MahjManager is not responsible for SMS delivery failures or carrier-imposed restrictions.
5. Fees and Billing
MahjManager may charge fees for certain features or usage levels, including per-event fees. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated at the time of purchase.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into MahjManager, including tournament information, player records, and scores. By using the service, you grant Reel Plan, LLC a limited license to store, process, and transmit that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell your data to third parties. Please review our Privacy Policy and Data Usage Policy for details.
7. Availability and Modifications
We strive to keep MahjManager available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We may also update these Terms of Service; continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reel Plan, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MahjManager, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or tournament disruptions. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
MahjManager is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Washington, DC.
