- Tournament data: Tournament names, dates, formats, seating arrangements, and game scores that you enter into the platform.
- Player information: Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of tournament participants that you add to the system.
- SMS interactions: Messages sent to and received from tournament participants through the platform's messaging features.
- Payment information: Billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers — Stripe handles all payment data directly.
- Usage data: Basic information about how you use the service, such as features accessed and actions taken, used to improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the MahjManager tournament management platform
- Send tournament-related SMS messages to participants on your behalf
- Process payments for platform fees
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account
- Improve the platform based on how it is used
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell your information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
MahjManager relies on the following third-party services to operate:
- Google Firebase: We use Firebase for database storage, authentication, and hosting. Data is stored on Google's infrastructure. See Google's privacy policy.
- Twilio: We use Twilio to send and receive SMS messages on behalf of tournament organizers. Phone numbers and message content are transmitted through Twilio's platform. See Twilio's privacy policy.
- Stripe: We use Stripe to process payments. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and is not stored on MahjManager's servers. See Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With third-party service providers listed above, solely to operate the platform
- When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Reel Plan, LLC, our users, or others
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including the use of encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and tournament data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@reelplan.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
MahjManager is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of MahjManager after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
